Card Problem

I've deleted a load of stuff off my card, but no rom has been free'd up, do I have to format it on the mpc completely or is there a way of keeping stuf on there?

it should automatically free up the space as you delete files. you can transfer what you want to keep to the pc and then format the card in the mpc. then resend your files back to the card if all else fails.
