Anyone els have this problem with akai

I bought my mpc 1k few monthes ago after my Bday in sep.
it was working fine n fast but i downladed the OS from akai onto my mpc
now it freakin slow as hell takes like 30 mins chop short sample up
dat like only 10 secs. So I call & email em they neva help me are contact me bak..

Have you tryed reinstalling OS=jjos

Everyone who trys to reach Akai has trouble with them.

You shouldn't expect a lot of response from Akai, but that's better than when they use to reply with lies and contradictions.
If JJ wasn't causing Akai MPC1000/2500 growth Akai would have probably discontinued them and replaced them with something else.
Akai understands that they are popular units because of what JJ has done and they lack the ability or desire to accomplish the same thing.

So JJ has the ability to make a total of $115 but they still get to sell you the unit for it to run on.
It's kinda like Akai is Dell and JJ is Microsoft.
