Hey guys,
THis seems obvious, but I can't figure this out. I loaded up a break from a sample cd - track was called "Track 16 1". so i chopped it up into 16 slices, trimmed em up, made a beat.
MPC saved each hit by adding a number to the sample...so for example A kick from that break would be "Track 16 1-6" because it was the 6th hit in the break that I chopped. A snare was saved as "Track 16 1-3". They were all named successively in the order that they were chopped from that break.
Obviously I want to rename the samples, problem is I can't figure out how - this sounds retarded i know.
