I had the whole day free and was looking forward to make some new tracks, SUDDENLY my right cursor button stops responding. I opened my mpc to check if something was loose, but the button looked and felt exactly like the other cursor buttons, damage free. Is this a common problem? Because it really sucks ass... i've only owned this piece for less than half a year! I've taken really good care of it. The button was acting weird a month ago, I had to press it hard for it to respond, but now its completely dead.
What can i do? This is a really small and stupid thing, but it's impossible to use the mpc without it. I don't want to try to solder this thing, mainly because my soldering skills are non-existant.
I talked to a guy at my local music store, he looked confused when i asked if he knew what an mpc was. Obviously he had no idea.
