thanks. I just got the MPC 1000 and thought that it would have a ubs plug, guess not. Another thing though... The screen is slanted a little bit. I could see everything, but it would be nice to adjust the screen. How would I go about doing that?

Get a Compact Flash Card Reader instead of just a USB cable. The Reader isnt that much more.

sticka VHS video tape under the back of the 1000. it helps you sit up straight instead of slouching over it.

i hover over my MPC, but sometime i prop it up with the manual, it helps that much more

its not that I cant see the screen.. It's that it's slanted a little bit. Am I the only one with this problem?

Use the biggest ring-bound notebook you can find. The tilt and angle of it is perfect to rest the MPC on.

mine screen is slanted to the side also, i was gonna ask for advice on this too. i have insurance but i'm not sure if that's a big deal to get it fixed.
