Please tell me it's not true....

So, I made 2 hot ass beats last night, saved them, everything was fine. Didn't back it up cause I was not near my computer...turned the machine off to load other programs to start a new beat- but then decided to go back and listen to the 2 I just made- however, all of a sudden like 2 of my programs will not load. Pops up with "Wrong File" msg when I try loading the folder (or program). I've read up as much as I can about "wrong files"- none of the names are more than 16 characters and they all vary at least a little, so I don't think renaming is the key. I used these programs and sounds 100 times before and never had this happen (they are the correct wav format). Please help!!!

If you've used those programs before, try takeing the one you know is good out of whatever folder. and place it in the one with the missing files.........Don't know if it'll work but its worth a shot.

What OS are you using ?

on my way to work now, so i will try that when I get home....but I'm using the free JJos

also... try copying all mpcefiles to a computer wia USB and reformat the CF card then copy files back.
if the computer accepts taking filecopies from the CFcard theres a good chance your files is not corrupted and reloadeble
