Hi, Sonseelye .... Er, what are 'rattle cans' ? we don't use this term over here in the UK. Are you refering to just canned spray paint ??

Do you then apply any kind of laquer or after sealant to the paint spray ?

yes,,i use a clear coat of spray also,,usually about 3 or 4 coats,,,theres so much space in between the buttons and casing that they still fit with plenty of room..

nah,i ended up spending 180 to get it screen printed directly on it,and then i brought it home and blasted it with about 5 coats of clear..

For you guys that dyed your pads, with the rit dye used, did you have to put a certain amount of salt into the dye ?

As said, I couldn't get a rit dye, but rather a Dylon dye. The instructions states that it requires you to put a fair amont of salt into the hot water along with the dye ?

I can cosign this stuff a well. I hsave been using it for years on RC cars and such... As far as the heat... It is hot water, not steam, so you pads and plastic bits will be fine if you follow the instructions...


Buy an extra set of standard pads and experiment.


Do at your own risk though....
