what is swing??

I keep hearing about this "swing" thing the mpc is famous for. What exactly is it? im guessing an effect or something. What is it and how can i use it on my mpc1k??

Swing is something like a rythmn to a beat.........Its what gets the people head bobbin to the beat.......To really understand it better you will have to play with the swing settings on your mpc.....
