POLY AND MONO

I want my chopped sample on mono but i want my drums on poly....but when everythings on mono the pads wont work correctly and everything is choppy,,,,hope im making sense im new to this and its really aggravating me. Thanks guys.

the manual should cover this.
set poly/mono in the program function. make two different programs, one for your samples set to mono, one for your drums, set to poly.

U can also assign everything to a POLY program, and assign the pads with the chopped samples to a mute group

I can understand though.
U'r saving money for it for like 6 months, waiting and dreaming about an mpc.
Then finally the day comes when u buy the mpc, and of course u want to start making that hit record right away.

But then all of a sudden u need to read a manual first? WTF?

I don't really 'read' manuals. I just play around with new gear and check the manual if I don't understand a menu, or can't find an option.
