mpc users in ATL

I'm in Atlanta also, specifically Marietta, but I work in Norcross.

How long have you been using it? Or do you have used other MPC's?

I'm not sure if this question is to me or not but I've had my 1000 for about 3 months. I've been using MPC's for about 10 years. I started with the MPC 60. I just sold my 2000xl about 2 weeks ago.

Because It's easier for me to edit and create sounds on the Computer and transfer them to a Memory Card rather than use floppies and Zip Disk. I've used MPC's for a while now and for what I use it for, Either the MPC 1000 or the 4000 would better suite me. I use my MPC strictly for Beats only, so I really never used the Time Stretch on the MPC 2000XL. Also, I like the Idea of having alot of sounds in Memory at one time. I normally have about 64MB of sounds (Drum sounds only, no long samples) in memory at a time. The Memory card also allows me to back up my Data Easier than with a Zip or Floppy. If I were not working on a computer, I would have never sold the 2000XL, but since I am, it makes things alot easier.

i agree...that makes a huge difference....people need to find what good for them and forget what other people use.....be true to yourself and your sh*t will turn out nice.......
