I just got an MPC 1000 and just installed the free JJ OS 3.08 and I have a problem. I've been able to load samples into it, chop samples and make them a program, but when I go to play it out on the pads and lay something down I HEAR NOTHING! it seems I can only hear something when I load a sample in. And on top of that I am trying to record....I press the REC and PLAY buttons together and NOTHING HAPPENS!! So it wont let me record. I know I might be doing something wrong here. Any info is greatly appreciated.

have you made sure that the program you have active has the samples assigned to it? Also make sure the program is routed to the proper audio output channel such as your main outs.

Tyla is having issues with recording in his mpc1000 so he post his problem in the mpc1000 forum. Whats the problem..............I think not being able to record into the mpc1000 is a reason to post in the mpc1000 forum.

Recording is a "BASIC" function of the mpc. The way you record with it does not matter what OS you are running. Seriously dude, you are to smart to repeatedly say dumb things. You have knowledge about this sh#t cuz ive read earlier post of yours. Use that knowledge to help people, not bash them.
