MPC1000 OS 1.04 released

Found at one site, not quite announced at the others:

Looks like it fixed many recent complaints:

fixes:
midi clock issues
importing protools and wavelab samples
Save/replace issue
and some others.

I know this a dumb question but I could not make it happen or find it in the search but
how do I install it???

Just put the OS bin file on your cf card, power off and power on again holding window key. Full instructions on akai's us website (no update yet tho)

Does it matter that it is on the japanese side?

I am curious as well, is there a difference between the North American MPC and the Japanese? Has anyone tried this new OS out?

Its the same sh!t playa its just the japanese side gets the os way before the US side ya dig! The US side wont have this os for problem a couple more dayz maybe longer but usin the japanese side os for the 1k wont mess up the 1k if thats what yur wonder u good homie download the new os and go to work any more ?'s holla at cha boy!

Does the new OS allow you to use Wave files bounced outta Pro-Toolz?

about OS 1.04...i know that there were some problems in the past with the the japanese version...i think it was 1.02...the US site in fact put up a disclaimer warning people re. downloading it...i think that there were a bunch of threads on this site about this some time ago...maybe this time it's ok, but i think i'll wait a couple of days.

The OS will work fine....they come out a few days earlier on the japanese site thats all....it's the same OS that will be posted on international site later.
