Triplets

Hello, I'm new to this forum.

I just got a black mpc1000 (amazing!) which i am currently using to program drum loops only.

The question i have is how do i do triplets in the grid edit screen?

I used to use another program for drums which allowed me to program 16th note triplets when using a standard 4/4 grid.

Is there a way to do this on the MPC? I am using JJOS1.

I've consulted the offical AKAI manual aswell as various online JJOS manuals.

Any help is greatly appreiciated

its simply sunday bro..and i cant help with this one!!

personally if i was going to use grid edit to make beats i'd never have brought an mpc and would have stuck with software.

neither does that

I am only using grid edit to copy the old songs beat for beat, and due to their complex nature, its easier to do it with the grid edit.
The new wave of songs will be programmed using the pads, which is why I bought the MPC

I have tried to do the triplets with by playing the pads, but that doesn't seem to work either.

Either:

You're in Main, you click TC pick 16-3, go to grid edit: U GOT triplets!

Either:

You in Grid Edit, already, HOLD TC, select 16-3 via the F buttons underneath the screen: U GOT triplets!

Excuse my lack of ettiquette, I didn't realise that MPC users are typically busy on sundays. If you read the original post and then bump again, its not really a complaint and i was merely commenting on the fact that the regular forum users choose to write unhelpful comments rather than be a bit more constructive in their posts.
