Hello, had my MPC1000 for about a month. Been through quite a few headaches, but just upgraded to the free JJOS and am A LOT happier now! Anyway, I've got 2 "songs" made now and was just wondering how to get them on a computer and keep the original quality.
I did the thing with recording the song back into a sequence then to sample, then saving as a WAV.
I tried to double click and play the WAV on the computer and the drums and overall sound is at least 50% weaker. The parts with no drums gets WAY too loud. Also, as soon as I unplug my USB from the MPC and try to just play the WAV on my computer it says "original source not found".
I know my next step is too get in the market for a c.d. burner, but does anyone have any other tips for the time being on how to best get my finished product off the MPC?
Thanks! Ekspan

Once you get good at it, you will learn to utilize the effects that the MPC has and you'll realize you don't need all those expensive plug-ins and processors.
