Just like they stopped paying Roger Linn as soon as they took over Akai.

If the 1000BK is sold with 2.0 within a week or so and we still can't download 2.0 i'll be really .......disappointed

but even to wait another week or so is still stretching it beyond what we've expected (from what we've been told). the damn units have been shipped two days ago. the os should've been released by then too. i don't see why they gotta play games with us. it's bull$hit!

when they say shipping, does that retailers will be receiving the 1000bks or is that customers too. mayb, they will release the os soon, i mean surely someone could buy a 1000bk and puth the os out for download if they os still aint out in time?

true, still its on its way, as ive said before, im sure akai r gonna release the os when it suits them commercially, i imagine they r waiting till christmas or after to release as they want ppl to purchase 2500's for christmas period, otherwise ppl wanting to save money would just buy 1000's.

I can't imagine the christmas period being any different to any other period when it comes to buying a 2500. It's not the kind of thing you buy someone as a christmas present

No doubt. How many people out there got $2000 to shell out at Christmas for anyone in particular? Sh!t, I was lucky enough to get a $200 Boss Dr Rhythm ten years ago... and I had to twist my mother's arm for that.

i promise u, rich ppl somewhere in this world r gonna get an mpc 2500 for christmas...a lot of ppl prob been saving for ages get that extra christmas cash given...anyway im sure akai do better at christmas that any other time of the year, be it not quite the same league as say Apple this year. might b wrong.....why release a new product in october, if u werent thinking about ppl buying stuff in the holiday period
