Can't get 1000 to boot new 2.10 OS ?!?!

Downloaded new 2.10 OS..Dragged file over to 1000 CF....Turned off 1000...Turned back on 1000 while holding down window button..nothing..Displays memory and then goes to main page..Tried this several times and nothing works...1.07 OS processed fine...The window button appears to work fine...Even when the screen is blank for 3 seconds I tried to hit record but nothing!!

Am I missing something here? Any tips would be great..

did you unzip the file you downloaded? it is a zip file. you have to unzip it and put the file that is in there on the CF card. it is a .bin file. make sure you only have one .bin file on the CF card. then redo the installation as you described you've done.

dude read the instructions...did you even soak it in water first ? I bet you did'nt even soak it in water did ya ?

Try to remove the 1.07[.bin file] first than drag the 2.10[.bin file] to your cf card and then try 2 install it aigan

I'm holding it down to try and get that prompt(press rec) but I'm not getting the 'press rec' prompt...I know what your talking about because it did it for the 1.07v update..I know the screen I should be getting but it's not prompting that screen..It's totally bypassing that "press rec" prompt..

Hate to ask this again but im having the same problems. I just updated to the 1.07 os today because i wasn't having trouble 1.06. 1.07 loaded up just fine. Went to load up 2.1 and it keeps telling me old version: 1.07 new version: 1.07. I did exactly what the instruction said, deleted the os 1.07 off of my card and still the same thing. What is the problem?

Man I can't tell ya..I called tech support and they advised me to send it in..Imma just upgrade to the 2500..Try calling tech support..maybe they can help ya....I still haven't figured it out

I hope I don't have to send my mpc in. and buying another model is not in my near financial future.
