Left Curser Broke

Yeah so today is the day when my left curser broke... No trimming sucks, and everything else... Has any one replace a button on there MPC and is it hard or should i just get it fixed some where else... Late

those buttons are pretty simple, i bet you can fix it

Okay I just looked by opening up the mpc... The plastic button is fine... It makes its connection with the button thats attached to the board... I dont know what it is.... It sucks though...

replacement buttons cost 3 dollars from VST. You can do a temporary replacement with a button that you dont use and put it where the left cursor button is. They are not hard to replace. I replaced 4 on mine when I bought me mpc "in need of repair" (just those 4 buttons were messed up)

oh sh!t. I thought you meant the plastic, my bad. I think you might have to open that little metal cap on the button and do some soldering. Can you take some pics? I will help you fix it. I will even take pics of my mpc

Yeah... Most def. if it comes down to me fixing it... But first Im going to call Akai and Vista... To ask for some suggestions....

my shift button platic broke, snapped..
**** pissed me off cuz like, i used to have to press my shift button SUPER hard.. and it ended up breaking, so afterwards before the new OS came out and i could trip with me sliders, i used to stick tweezers in and click the shift button down manualy

what about using your sliders to trim? sucks about the button though.

I find that i Really dont like using the sliders when you get really close to the sound on the sample.
