Drums

i was wondering if there is anywhere to get drum kits from famous producers.. REAL ONES.. not the lil fake ones on EBAY that someone just took from a bunch of low quality songs????

also how do you lay down ur drums without them overpowering the whole thing... ive tried turning them down.. it just seems like the drums just over power the whole sequence???

my advice...get creative with your drums. sample tweek experiment....find your own sounds.

it just seems like for example... the heatmakers drums...
have more instruments into one hit.. i dunno how to explain it.. it just sounds hott.. and i was wondering how to create that..

does that make sense?..lol

In my opinion(thats just me) the way to go is to find your own drums, it's just more self satisfying that way. But if you really want(for example) that dre or timbaland kit that bad, get that shit on ebay, or just find a break on one of there tracks and cut it up. Peace.

Get to know Dre/Quik/Blaze/etc etc etc *--insert other well known producers here--* well enough to ask and get from him his drums kits while you are at his house chillin/smokin with him.

People on ebay and other places put those names on kits just to attract customers and it's trickery, so I think they are tricks for doing so.

They are usually kits made from the already completed songs from those same artists, ie, chopped up drums from the Chronic 2001, would be a dr. dre kit. I honestly don't think it's the actual drum sample and/or one shot that he used to produced with.

my advice to u is find out what record they sampled for whatevr joint they did that got some ill drums find the same record or be a cheater and download the mp3(convert it to a WAV b4 u sample it) or find that break on phatdrumloops.com-----------To know what record was sampled by the producer ur feeling go to The-Breaks.com type in the song name in sampled song/title and off u go----------Example-----Nas's "I Can" prod by Salaam Remi samples "Impeach the President" by Roy C. and the Honey Drippers( i picked that joint cuz them drums is so blatant you'll know its impeach from the 1st kick........ Stay away from them fake ebay kits, and build your own..Peace

yea i kinda figured that ebay shit was a scam.. anyone can do that and sell i... ..
yall have any advice on creating bass?.. or finding it?
