Does anyone uses or know the mpc 1000 program creator for pc?

the problem i have been experiencing using program crator (also bluebox) is this:

- recorded a sample on my pc using audition (cool edit), saved as .wav (windows pcm)
- took the sample and assigned to pad 1 layer 1 in the program creator
- tuned it in different variation on the 16 pads of bank A (so i could play a melody with only 1 sample)
- saved the whole thing as program
- transferred it to my mpc via usb
- loaded the program and sample

there was nothing in the program!! all the programs i have made with samples from sample cds work, but as soon as i record it myself the program wont load the sample.

is this problem bit, khz, or else related??

any hints? anybody?

thanks, cheers

Just make sure by the time you are creating your program, to creat a new folder that cointains all of your chops & samples, and place your new program on that same folder. Then, transfer the folder to you MPC, load your program from the folder, and you are good to go!
It always work for me, It might work for you! Give me a buzz if you need more advise

I use Sounforge for all of my edits and chops....and then save it as wav's (at 44100 16bit). Maybe is something related to the program you are using; Try with another editor, and see if it works. Try Wavosaur, its free, and from my point of view has more features than Audacity.

Let me know if this works!

If you're using Windows, try Blue Box...
http://webpages.charter.net/dereese/gary/akai.html

The older MPC Editor for the 1000 has been discontinued, and the website domain had expired, which once was www.mpc1000.com.

However, I may have the old MPC Editor stored on a CD.
If you're interested, I can upload it for you.
