Is My MPC Fallen Apart??

you should just try a different one..i would try v2.12

interesting... maybe even a flash of the same os would work out any corruption in the current os, assuming a corrupt os is the problem

Alright well we got some progress. Basically I transferred all my stuff on my card to my PC and started from scratch. Did the formats again, did the resets again, reinstalled the OS again and just started everything blank. And it worked. Only thing is I'm still having problems with the usb port on the mpc (not connecting). But I have a card adapter to transfer, so its cool. Anyway thank u guys for your help. Don't know what started all this but atleast we got something good out of it. Anyway thank you.

Yeah, the cable. For some reason it didn't like my other one so I got a new one. But as far the MPC, everything seems to working fine now. Just had to do some major tweaking, lol. Thank you guys for the help, much appreciated.

sonseelye had the right idea. if you did what i said youd be mailing your mpc off to akai right now.
