not always, though it can be a source of satisfaction granted, but there are peeps with a lot more years under they belt that been digging longer then u been alive.
so a break series by the likes of soulman or kon and amir gonna turn up gems u may neva find or could neva afford.
so may as well give ur self access to a deeper level of sound and take advantage of they knowledge and ear for samples.
but if ur doing beats certain peeps u gotta know about like dre, dilla, premo, pete rock, marley.
just like if u a jazz artist u gotta know about miles, coltrane, hancock, etc
if ur a boxer u gotta know about ali, frazer, sugar ray, tyson
so u folks do some home work it will benefit u and give u further inspiration
