you say that we spend too much time complaining but you wrote more words than all of us in your past two posts in here LOL.
but basicly what you are saying is that because we did not spend $3000 on a "MPC3000" we should not expect to recieve a quality product? and we should not be considered "Professionals" becuase only "Professionals" use "MPC3000" or higher models? Am I correct?

Hey, the wobble actually comes from all the quake-proofing they do in Tokyo. I just use a crooked table and everything seems fine.

um.. it says akai professional RIGHT ON THE MPC 1000. is that enough for you. im sorry but mpc3000 you really need to stop shittin on the 1000 because it is suposed to be a quality profesional piece of equipment. dont talk about 950 being cheap so little defects are ok. you would probaply be pissed if you bought a t shirt and found that it had one arm longer than the other.

if you wana spend your time shittin on the 100 then dont even bother sayin shit

that is exactly what I am trying to say. It doesnt matter how much you spend on equipment, if it is brand new you just expect it to work right.

Quality Control:

I love the MPC's (though I'm still trying to find one where the pads have even velocity), but no matter what the price there is no excuse for not being able to make a fuc!@#$% square metal box. The industrial age is 50 years old. What's so fuc$%^&^* hard about making a flat metal box? Not enough practice with all the other AKAI products? There is no excuse, pro or not. my 2 cents.

Jesus guys - MPC3k is not dumping on the 1k I think he's saying see it for what it is - a nicely made, cheap, entry level, portable MPC which sounds great. I have a 4k and a 2k and I still luv the 1k.

His fix took me me 4 minutes and now my 1k is flat. So no serious manufacturing issue at all
