Then it's a basic failure like the USB cable / driver, or even the MPC1000's CF reader. (Or you're not in USB mode.)
Then why were you talking about Drive E: or H: before? Remember what I asked: I don't care about what was working before, I wanted to know what you are seeing now!
I'm not trying to be a hardass about this, but I keep asking for information about what is happening now, you come back saying "what I had was X:, that ain't there anymore", which is not what I was asking and doesn't help solve the problem you have!
Troubleshooting technique starts with knowing where you are, only then can you figure out how to get where you want. Like getting lost on the road: saying "I'm not in LA any more" will do you no good at all: stop and find out where you are...
