does mpc1000 come with built in speakers, what do i need ??

Just for sheer convenience, it wouldn't be that bad an idea to try and make something where you wouldn't have to connect to an amplifier or have to wear headphones all the time.
Newer devices like the OP-1 show a lot of promise, USB chargeable and an on-board speaker. If the price wasn't such an utter joke I'd have bought one by now.
Im not saying it would happen any time soon, but a decent beat-making unit with similar features could be more popular than people might think.

stuff like the Mackie onyx was cool, where sound come in over USB. that'd free up inputs and be generally computer friendly
