Hey.. Scratch is a respectable rag. I know this stuff is obviously gonna start speculation. A new MPC is inevitably going to affect the value of people's units regardless, mine included. I wouldn't consider this information useless to those familiar with different stages of hardware development. It might say very little of when this unit is supposed to be released, but at least it says something. So why would anyone wanna delete the thread?

I'm not trying to offend anyone. But don't you think this as much an issue of some of you having to come to grips with your poorly syncing, malfunctional USB sporting, hopelessly triggering, weak sauce effect board MPC 1Ks not being the end-all-be-all machines they were set out to be? And maybe start thinking that if this unit had any future to it, maybe it should have had a proper OS around this time last year, after the 2004 Frankfurt show?

At the same time I'm as enthusiastic as most of you who swear by the 1K, still hoping Akai are gonna turn it around. Maybe a new update will actually bring it a little closer to flawless - someone here did say they were testing a new OS out, right?

In the meantime, I'm sticking to what I got and decide when I see some specs.
