U dont need a computer to make tracks. I'm just fine using hardware. I thnk u should inverst in a cpu once u get aquainted with your 1000 master it and its time to step your game up ie.. creating drums mixing and other stuff like dat. But for a newbie man all u need is dope records son. Midi controller is cool if u like to play out your basslines and such and melodies on the keyboard But u should master the art of sampling chopping and filtering the samples to make your basslines ill
