a reflection on the mpc 1000

I'm afraid 2 showcase beats on da internet none of my beats are copywritten and people steal beats (true story) sounds like I'm coppin a plea but it aint and I really don't have a computer 2 load my beats anyway (another reason why I don't use programs and all that) I browse this forum on my sidekick plus you sound real upset did I offend you I didn't mean 2 knock yall I guess its all preference right but I don't understand what's the purpose of having an mpc if use a computer 2 chop and add effects and yall think the timing suck I'm just saying maybe yall suck cuz there's people in da rap game with way more basic equipment than the 1k making hot music and a lot of money its all about if you that ear yall making sound like cuz I don't have programs my beats aint hot yall hurt my feelings f*ck a timestrecth I rather strecth out a chick

its cool man, you'll just miss out on the benifits of timestretch and your "hot" beats will suffer accordigly. and really it sounds like your pulling arguments out of your ass. 1st you say you make all your beats on the 1k then you say you don't understand the purpose of having an mpc if you use a computer to chop and add effects. so why do you do all your beats on a 1k? like i hinted at earlier, i think you're full of shit.

that would take care of the first problem. secondly, if i gathered correctly, you're afraid of beatjacking on the internet? keep the original copy in a private email box, unopened, shondo. it isn't hard, and then you'd have something to back up your hostile, nearly unintelligible arguments with.

as for "all us new age producers" having beats that aren't that "hot," the best i can do is link you to some of my music in an attempt to suggest otherwise. that's more than what you've done.

it really sounds like you're upset, i'm quite happy with where i am. i was simply offering suggestions that would have made me take your post seriously instead of just dismissing it as inane babble.

i doubt you've even tried using programs in conjunction with the mpc. don't knock it til you've tried it.

and furthermore, since you brought it up, i am in fact quite capable using JUST the mpc, no programs additionally - either in just making an all mpc beat or performing live. in fact, that's all i did until recently - when i discovered how useful a combination is.

the attitude one takes when they respond to a post makes all the difference in how it is read, man - you came in here dismissing what you haven't tried, so don't be surprised at sarcastic replies - especially when i'm doing something i think helps people.

Back on subject, this topic was started to kick all these stupid 1000 haters in the face and I think it did just that. Whether you use the 1000 with hardware or with software, you're still should be doin your own thing and being creative. So can we kill the drama now and make some beats?

dont mean to hijack this thread but... i downloaded some of your drum programs from your link. havent had a chance to listen to em yet, just wondering, are they sampled from the bands they are named after or are the kits just named after bands that they remind u of?

like bright eyes, alkaline trio, etc...
