i downloaded all the files but after watching the video sparq made of the new os, i'll just wait till the new os comes out.

i've waited to long to wreck my 1000 a couple weeks before all those features are available finally. if i didnt think the new os was around the corner i'd probalbly give it a shot, but not now...

just tried it.....got the message "file data error!" ...i loaded everything from the download site onto a flash card, but the vc1000 file did not have a link. dont know if this means anything but.....it did not load a new OS

edit: just to be safe i reloaded the akai us 1.07 and i noticed this when it was writing the OS

oh well, we all have a great deal to look forward to. i really can't put it into words how i feel about the new os. i can't fucin wait for that sh*t to drop. it was totally worth the wait, whats the sayin? "good things come to those who wait", i'll remember that next time.

i think after you load the mpc1000ex.bin it allows you to load up alternate os software if you turn on the mpc while holding tap tempo/note repeat.

it also says that wp1000 is a ten minute trial version. ehh. i think that one is the dj like effect with the q sliders. the other one avialble for download is a free midi program utility i think.

if i can find my extra compact flash card, i think i'm gonna give it a shot....

in other words, that shit aint official nor credible, and you may just want to wait for the new update which is coming out tomorrow cause sparq is gettin overly tired of the pm's and bribes for it, so akai will tell this credible source of sparqs to just release it as a beta version and the finalized one will be available for download as soon its finalized.
