check the length of your files' name

i just wanted to post i found the error.. it was the file name.
thanks krisk. you been a big help d.
While we at it, do you know any good freeware program to rename a bunch of file names, there was a post here awhile back about that for windows.. where you can type a name ex: kick and it will change the files kick1.wac, kick2....kick14.wav and so on...

go on http://www.download.com and do a search for it there.

downloaded something called r-name. really nice. you can drag drop the files into the interface and preview the new names. and finally click rename. very nice.

Just set the import options in Preferences to wav16bit then put all yer files in a playlist select all and click import... :wink:
