we all need to work together to establish the idea of 'blue mpc is so cool, its old skool and the pads are somehow better then the black ones..'' ok?

then mine will keep its value better :)

"1.4-inch stereo phone x 2, balanced -40dBu, input impedance 11k ohms; Max. Input level +10dBu"

hm....
the original MPC has unbalanced inputs. so this looks like a hardware change, provided it is correct of course.

You guys are funny.

I understand this is an official list of new features but you are acting like you've never heard of them (like this is the first time ur hearing of new things for the OS). Regarding the propellant things, if you seen the video I did on timestretching with OS2.0 then you seen what propellant is. How fast it stretched the sample compared to the 2kxl. And yes, the delay effect is syncable.

you think this thing is any different to the blue and red job, other than asthetically

ie have they put better pads in it

or like mentioned above... balanced outputs

By truvc Wed Nov 30, 2005 1:11 pm
no balanced outputs on the black 1k. and the inputs are already balanced on the input for the blue 1k.

By D6 Wed Nov 30, 2005 1:15 pm
I pretty sure the outputs are unbalanced but the inputs are balanced - for the benefit of shielded signal transfer from vynil, no doubt.

hmm... think the blue/menstrual colored mpcs will have any significant value in the future? :)

This is what I'm thinking....Now they're really gonna take off, everyone is going to get one, and I'll have my blue and red so I can say "I'm old school, I got the ORIGINAL 1K"
