if you have such an issue if akai. then stop buying there products. sell your current akai equipment. and stop coming to the forums, period.

im tired of hearing the same old shit from the same people. change your **** tampon and buy something else. akai doesn't need you, you need akai. get it right.

the same is said in the following statement

"if you don't like america you can get out"

point is, some people have already made a considerable investment in said country/company (or in the case of my homeland both at the same time) and to move somewhere else is not feasible/reasonable

from how it reads, akai is the middle man in all of this. the hd manufacturer changed the game plan. but people still wanna hate on the middleman though.

I don't know maybe it's just how they work s***t when they write.

The tone of how they write messages is like f**k you.

This may not be their intentions but their support department needs to look at it.

It's not anybody's responsibility but Akai.

Think about this example, if I bought a guitar from you, and it fell apart, would you say:: oh the glue I used was defective... so it's not my problem, I think you should buy some other brand of glue and stick it back together.. at your own expense...?

I would say, f*** you, that's not my problem, you sold me a defective guitar now fix the damn thing. Faulty glue? Not even my problem, you should have checked, or whatever.

No-one should be buying this attempt to point the finger at Seagate, that's just cheap and shady business practises.

this isn't akai's issue. if you read the website it was the HD manufacturer's fault. can't do anything right now about it. does it suck that you have to get an old os or go without a HD? yes. but that's life.

oh, don't get me wrong i feel for you. but if you got an issue, call akai. bitching about it here won't help you.

With your attitude and the ability to fall hook line and sinker for any excuse someone tries to sell you, I wish you luck.

If you bought a car and the steering wheel fell off who would you blame?

... probably the company that made the car, right? It's _their_ responsibility to deliver a product where all the parts work.

I can't even believe they are using this slimy tactic to try to pass the buck... people like you are just encouraging them.

if my steering wheel fell off, i would call the company and take my car back to the dealer. if they didn't do shit about it, I would pay to get it taken of, not sit and cry about it. you got to take some action in life, dude.

And, you would probably tell your friends that Ford or whoever has sh**ty customer service, and to buy from someone else

Riiiiiight....?

I think we should really ask who owns a DPS and then ask them how they feel. I know anybody can sit back and say how its ok and not Akai's fault when it doesnt affect them.

If your car has a seat belt malfunction, and the seat beat was made by another co. The car co. & the seat beat co. have a contract I hope that would say that "our " seatbelt are good if the seat belts are defective and someone dies, the car co. gets sued. Then the car co. will go and sue the seat belt co. for selling them a faulty product. The car co. would recall the car and fix the problem.

AKAI should fix the problem

Could be lawsuit material here?
