mpc + oxygen 8 + reason

Buy a midi to game port connector lead. It has an in and out midi lead attached to one end and on the other end a small serial/game port connector.

I had the same trouble this week with the same setup. I just attached the lead to the laptop/pc which triggers reason from the MPC 1000 (when you press start, stop etc. Now I am able to play reason as a sound module with the oxygen and saved on buying a new sound card.

yeah, i am going to buy this usb-midi box today, it´s pretty cheap and i don´t need to buy a new card..solves my problem, cost efficiently.
