Something to consider - In Japan the EXM128 is included in the box with the MPC1000bk. On zzsounds it says "16MB standard, expandable to 128MB". Might make the postage cost worthwhile..

It is the black one.. The sellers name is Aaron and he ownes hiphoptools.com.. I was gonna buy that same one before he put it on ebay, but the other source of funds for me was unavailable.... He is a cool guy and I think he can be trusted..

Exactly, im not really into used products.

Quite a few forum members purchased their 2500s (including myself) from Alto Music for $1600. My unit came to exactly $1620..they shipped it from New York to Oklahoma City for me.

Some dealers may/may not match Alto's prices....


VST services price of $2006 is actually very close to Alto's price once you consider VST throws in memory, CD-R/RW burner (yes..it burns audio CDs now), 6 months of additional warranty, and free shipping.

But...there is nothing wrong with going for the 1000

I bought a Black 1000 today at GC today. Of course it helps when you work there. It was just sitting all lonely in the warehouse, so I had to give it a good home.

I ran a chain wide search and there are about 15 in the country that can be shipped to any store in a matter of 2 days.
