i don't think redundant kits, particularly drum kits will really cause a problem considering we have gigs and gigs of space.

plus it'll save on load time.

When you're finished with a song, you can backup the song folder to another media (pc hd, dvd, tape, etc..) and then delete all but the last version folder on your MPC. I gave up on saving pointers to samples soon after I got my MPC. It's so much easier just saving the entire memory to a folder. Now with mass storage available, there really is no excuse not to do it this way. Of course, I always am open to suggestions for other save methods. Anyone?

aight

i make 2 folders.... 1 being programs and other songs

so i go in the programs, make a new folder and save that program there

goin onto songs and save the seq there....

i turn off my mpc, turn it back on.....some programs wont load, and some songs say the infamous "end of file"


WTF!!!!!!!
