yo Phabeon, dont listen to Mr Brown, i think everyone heres gotten to know how narrow minded he is, respect for goin and doin that, on a level, its not easy to walk into a piano class, its kinda wierd, specially in those circumstances. i got an idea for your sheet music, download a midi version of a hiphop song, i used to do this in the early days, just to see how the midi broke down, then get a program off the net that converts midi to score and score to midi, and just convert, it might not be perfect but you will be able to perfect it and improvise, when youv done your piece, record it man, and let us all here

I have been looking for free sheet music for those songs for agggggggggesssss. Any way, i found this site. Your supposed to download the sheet music but you get a preview of the first page, and especially with hip hop one you have the first page down it tends to repeate its self. You have to download a program and then it plays it at what ever tempo you want and theres a few other options to help you learn it, i had hours of fun on this. http://www.sheetmusicdirect.com

first of all forget about it..just find a dope track that u really really dig..cuz u gonna have to hear it over and over..first find the right keys the piece is in..write it down..find the chords and transitions..practice practice practice..this way you not only can play a dope jam on keys but you also teach yourself how to analyze things and recreate them..and yo from there on you might be able to rock your own dope jams..ait

no yo i could kill yall wit some stories sh*t is mad funny, last week i took my female/wifey wit me, n d*m i don't know what it is but uh put a YOUNG female in wit a room of older ladies, thats a potent mix...one of the MILF's was being EXTRA friendly that day to me and well wifey wasn't feelin that.. words was exchanged i was told NOT to bring wifey no more..

ay but what yall think of that laptop i jacked? i mean should i bother wit it? first computer n all or jus try to sell tha joint? did some research its a ibm thinkpad 600 pent II 288mhz 64MB ram win 2000, it has no mouse but you can use this thing in the middle of the keyboard to scroll it got usb on it plus a cd drive....but d*m shit is mad slow but if i want to try computer beatmaking what can i put on it try stuff?

imho your best bet is Reason. get a reason demo, test it on that...
ive seen reason work on some really old machines, if you limit it to a couple of synths or whatever

if that doesn't work, ditch it


otherwise people might tell you some older software like buzz-something, but i doubt you wanna learn a whole new system...

aight on to real business. i have this question regardin sequencing on the mpc... i want to know is this based on my wackness. i.e. i need to improve my skill on the chops... or is it a setting i can tweak/change..

when i do my sequence song mode, i put my sequences together via that screen. When it goes from one seq to the next its a quick little bit of silence, not much or bad but its NOTICABle.. ex. i have my seq #1 an intro sample of 8 bars tempo at 145 then seq #2 is the beat aka my sample wit drum ect. 4 bars tempo at 90... so when it goes from seq #1 to seq #2 its a quick second gap difference.. small/slight but noticable..

it makes for a NON flowin song... so my question is... is that adjustable or if not what am i doing wrong or how can i make it so that doesn't happen?


aight i hope i was able to articulate that well enough to be understood and get some good feedback on that..
