you'll get the same thing bro I had the XL.

But as far as %50 swing it's standard for Akai, 50 is where you start to notice the swinging. I personelly like adding to the 16th note only then adding some swing if need.

I think that someone pointed out in some thread a while back that they thought the logic behind the 50%-75% swing range is that at 50%, the notes are actually halfway between each other, which would mean they are right on the beat. As you up the percentage, you are increasing the space before the swung notes. Although you can't go all the way to 100%, it seems that 100% would theoretically move it all the way on to the next note.
