Thank you guys for all the responses....I got a few more though that you can hopefully address???

1. Does anyone else experience TC problems when you record?....I ended up having to turn the dam thing off cuz it seems to throw my notes around all retarded like and shit!?

2. Can u RECORD MUTES in the mute track screen? - if so that would be the most rediculously easy way to create an arrangement!

3. THis ones a little trickier: If i create say; a sample loop on sequence 1 - and track 1, and then record drums on track 2, and then make a new sequence for a different sample part - like for the chorus...Is there a way to play JUST the DRUMS from sequence 1 underneath the new samples in sequence 2? - Or should i just be starting new tracks for all this on one single sequence?

Thanks again. :)

1. Check the T.C. settings, notably the swing setting. If you want to record what you play to even divisions of a measure, make sure swing is set to 50%. (retarded is not a nice way to describe anything)

2. Not in this OS version. Maybe in v3

3. The MPC only allows one sequence at a time to play. Use SEQ edit mode to copy your drum tracks into your new sequence so that they will play alongside your new samples in sequence 2.

funny - every religion says that you can only be truly happy/saved/whatever if you SURPRISE belong to that religion. that being said, i'm a godless atheist who doesn't have reason to believe that anything exists outside of this little thing called the material world. hocus pocus, my my my, what we got here but a ghost in the sky.

anyway what was the question

i find it funny that there is an mpc "bible" that has all wisdom and knowledge about drum programming, but what about the real bible does that mean absolutely nothing?
