I really don't wanna deal with E-Bay...I had a bad experience with it. I need some sort of a guarantee.

I could **** in a box and slap a guarentee on it, I have all day...

P.S., by the time your pads fizzle out on you, your guarentee will be gone.
So your saying its a shitty box with pads that'll die in 30 days...and I would rather buy used than new why?? Depending on how much I feel like saving I'll buy it ne & get a year warranty on it..Akai have better release a pad fix by then or Ilm going back to roland..

A problem ensues when people with too much money and not enough talent buy a bunch of gear, find a forum of overly helpful people and start demanding answers.

Go back to Roland.

You seem real angry...I had a simple concern about a product to which you didn't have to respond. You said your peace the final choice is in my hands. I thank everyone for the helpful info. I work very hard for my money 5 days a week & I have a little hang up about getting my moneys worth...and holding certain brands to a standard they've set..as far as who has talent your claim holds no grounds.peace

I think I understand where he's coming from....(can't speak for him) but your ultimatum to go back to Roland doesn't mean squat here. I think for every person that buys a sampler made by anyone other than Akai, there are 5 more kids buying an MPC because it's the "hip hop" thing to do. No disrespect, but it sounds like you already have your mind made up to me.
