in other news, ceo, how do you like them? feel good, don't they? or better, at least. i'd still like a softer rubber, as long as that doesn't sacrifice corner hits.

i think I just gotta get used to the way they are.
I miss notes somtimes tapping on full level with PAD sens @ 16 in JJOS
I seem to do better when leaving my finger on it and tap other than hovering over. make sense?
I can only see like 8-40 tapping with full level off with PAD Sens @ 16

These both seem to be very possible things to do.

i feel you. remember, i'm that pad man!
i'm amazed that you have a hard time reaching above 40 w/ pad sens at sixteen. i have to put some effort into it, but i can always get it up to 127 no sweat on mine.
however, i bet i know how to fix your problem. it's as i mentioned before, using spacing material on top of the rubber to push the pads down, closer to the sensor. it's a science, though - go too far and you'll get ghost notes and stuck notes, neither of which you want.
however, my mpc is a little modded already (face place all bent up) which works to my advantage - the grid frame that goes around the pads is pushed in (down, into the mpc) so it acts as a force to push the pads closer to the sensor as i mentioned!
i'll come up with a good solution for the home diy dude though that will help with the low values problem. then jj will step in eventually too.
