Got lucky on my new PADS

my pad fix is out of commission probably indefinitely due to akai using sensitronics FSR and a more perfect rubber mold. i recommend their fix as it is more perfect than mine.

you should work to get yourself a free one of the official pad FIX.
after all. it is a fix.

anyone know: is akai selling new mpc1000s with the new pads?
and not saying anything.
then charging us $180 - i'm in the UK so i gotta pay import tax as well.
if they are i'll never buy another akai product again.

They are indeed.
I am still waiting on a phonecall or an email from the UK division of Numark who run Akai UK, regarding the matter.
