MPC to DAW

yo cozy, nah i dont set my master level to 0db because it will distort like crazy and mke ur shit sound horrible, i leave it at -12 and just turn it up pretty loud. But yea like with my setup right now i waana check out the mbox 2 tht comes with protools LE, i think itd be easier doing it tht way then to switch to MAC. Id have to buy a mac laptop, or id get tht I-MAC then logic, which is gona be fkin expensive. I mostly either need logic or protools just for mixing and mastering. I've heard shit on Logic though and it sounds sooo cleean haha, is it pretty user friendly, i mean like to master and get professional sounding stuff?

i keep my mp at 0 db and dont have any problems distorting. im not sure why yours would.

as far as mixing and mastering, and getting a "clean, professional sound", there is no software that makes it easy. even if it is user friendly. mixing and mastering is a skill, not something that comes in software. know that before you buy something.

i can mix and master in fl studio. well, i cant master, i dont have the skill, but it is possible. all of these softwares are just tools. dont get caught up in something because you heard it was clean or whatever.

the reason i am trying to move to protools is because i am moving forward with this music thing. i will be going to real studios and protools is what they have. getting a pt setup is a good idea if you plan on moving out of basement/bedroom production. but expensive if you just plan on doing this as a hobby.
