im gunna try and dye the wack blue cursor keys on my 1k black. has any one ever tried dying anything on the mpc?

on my 2k, i have my buttons, knobs, slider, and wheel painted black, i used a textured spray paint

even thought spray paint works, i'd rather try rit dye and try it on some pieces and see how they come out, becuase i can just spray paint them if it doesnt come out too good

Spray paint works very well. After spray painting the base colour a few times, my friend painted the girl, letters, and lines. The girl was painted on with acrylics and her rough texture didn't fit in with the glossy ivory sides.
I then put on around eight coats of matte spray paint and it all pulled together. It looks and feels great with the matte paint.

To tell you the truth thats creative and hot it has a sense of style and Japanese touch to it im feeling it man.

Thats a nice clean set-up you got there. Did you sand down the face of the mixer yourself?

Yes, I sanded down the face of my mixer on my own but I never got to finish up what I started. My friends dad was supposed to help me chrome plate it but we never got to it and he moved... So now im stuck with a blue print of my idea but its all good... Still looks pretty cool. The only downside is I have to whipe off the mixer every now and then to get finger prints and marks off of it...
