Im sure there are more than 400+ mpc1000 users with this issue.

and i bet that most of them mpc users done sold there wakai mpc on ebay for somthin else possibly an mv

Im new here (and a new MPC owner! )...

I wonder if emailing Akai and just stating the facts to them might get the ball rolling -

something like "Members of mpc-forums.com are currently in negotiations with legal representatives regarding a class action case against you for the dead pads."

At the very least they would be aware that users are active...

Im sure people on this forum have emailed akai already. Im sure people outside of this forum have contacted them as well. I wouldnt do this unless there is true legal representation. they will laugh at you if they ask for proof, and you can't provide it.

It seems like they dont take the issue seriously. Im getting pissed, and Im not even a 1000 owner. Where is the link to the petition?

x2... plus that first email was just awful... i would've laughed my ass off if i was a lawyer and received some shit like that.

I gotta agree with the previous 2 replies. No lawyer/firm is gonna touch touch that case. Even if the case was stonger, I don't think there are enough AKAI MPC 1000 owners out there to make it worth it for them.
