This reminds me of similar wisdom imparted on me years ago, by a seemingly deranged professor of graduate-level anatomy classes...
It was a short bit of time before a couple of us students got a few cases of beers, and rounded up as many (CRUSTY, STAINED, DISGUSTING, & WORSE) computer keyboards as we could procure. After a few initial cocktails (and actual fun[!]), we put all the keyboards in the dishwasher racks, threw a jet-dry tab in there for good measure, and just forgot about it. Stranglely enough, a couple of days later someone remembered the ****' retarded experiment... Believe it or not, the majority of those (previously horrific) keyboards came out clean, and working near-as, if not as good-as, new.
Go figure.
AS FOR DEEP-CLEANING YOUR MPC-
Let me know how it turns out Champ!!!(?)
