thanks.....doing that through pro tools is going to be fun. it will be alot easier to do then because while you can only track 2 tracks at a time with the mbox, using reason and the mpc, you can track your 2 tracks out of the mpc and the reason tracks through rewire and by way of routing aux tracks in PT your reason tracks will be tracked as audio and not midi. if you need help with that when you get your mbox, holla at me.

does that Lexicon interface that you have come with descent software? I looked at that one too and it seems like I would get more bang for the buck, just unsure about the software.

it comes with a full version of cubase LE which is a watered down version of cubase SE. but take the term "watered down" lightly. it still does everything (or just about everything) that cubase SE does. but what more can you ask for from a free program. you can track 4 inputs at a time plus it has SPDIF/digital in/out so you can track out your 4 outputs from the 1k and still here the master out via digital out. i have my computer (reason) going through there as well. 1 midi in/out, 2 mic (XLR combo inputs, an instrument input. it's a great piece of hardware. i am running nuendo through there as well.
