what are you babbling on about lol? who said im not caring? who said i dont wanna change for the better? of course i do. maybe it was a stunt from akai to bring out faulty pads and sell replacements to earn some extra £ maybe not. the original pad design for the 1000 is a lot more complicated n probably costs alot more to produce. so i don't see how that would be so.
the fact that some peoples pads havn't died after years of use goes against the scam, ann maybe it was genuinely a mistake to change the design from the old mpc's in the first place.

for them to give the new pads away free of charge they will most probably go broke. and that would be a shame cause they gave us the MPC's in the first place.

u can either believe they scammed us all for the extra buck.. or they made a mistake... the choice is yours. i personally dont care what or how because we've got the new pads now so be glad n CARRY ON.

umm ur smoking crack...u cant get the old pads no more "THEY RAN OUT" they say..and it was retarded for them to switch from the classic feel to somthing stiff and hard with only 3 pastes of elmers glue holding it down...if it cost more to make the original pads then why are they selling mpc1000 now with the new pads in them for the same price as the mpc1000 was sold for 3 years ago? the price havent changed its still the same..be for real do ur research before u start to blabber on on who side ur on...if akai tryn to make more money then use this as an excuse..

if you bought a new car and the gear shifter's where known to go bad on them wouldn't you expect a re-call on it to be fixed? or would you be cool with paying for an upgraded gear shifter

ive never turned mine in for warranty so i wouldnt know. i got my mpc cheap second hand with broken pads so i didnt really loose out. to say theyve run out of the old pads is a load of shit n i aint stickin up for noone i jus cant be **** with it all.

exactly they should lower the price atleast if there selling it with the newer mpc1000 with the pads in them for the same price as we paid for the old mpc1000 with the faulty pads..they shouldnt call it an upgrade it should be a fix..and the os2.11 needs a fix to and they better not shell out another $UPGRADE$ cause i aint paying for no akai crap..we all know u cant polish a turd\

heres a story on menufoods a company that makes dog and cat foods such as iams gravy and other wet meals for animals.. soo a bunch of dog and cats died what the good company of menufoods did was pay back to the customers who lost there pets and recalled the foods.. could akai have done the same.. well lets look at history..menufoods didnt come close to being bankrupt and numark didnt save menufoods asses..menufoods is finacially set akai isnt..but akai could atleast lower the price they set on the $UPGRADE$ PADS ya they could sell it to close to nothing like as much as a night out in the town eating at a dinner with a bill of 20 bucks...akai dont give a **** about u or i..read my story above about 3 years of confirmation by them and no fixes until we screamd lawsuit..most of our communitys mpc owners have left to roland or other samplers leaving there mpc1000 in the rivers of ebay purchasing noobies..akai has been doin shady shit to us all after mpc3000 and 2000
