NewEgg has that and also the Kingston both within a couple bucks of each other. Seems Kingston is better, there flash cards have always worked for me but havent used the memory.

This would be for a 2500 mpc.

For $1, go for the lifetime memory on the kingston...no brainer.

bought a stick off ebay

its a samsung stick and works fine in the new 1000bk (the black one)

is it a 128 mb chip that will be read as 64 mb by the MPC or a 256 mb that will be read as a 128?

i bought one of the kingston modules on amazon.de, seems to work fine until now.

bought me Kingston KVR133X64SC3/256

and works FINE!!

going through this topic took an effort but it was well worth it!!!

Yes, i just picked one up last weekend,

now i've figured out which CF card to get for my 500, but i'm still unclear about which RAM to buy for it. right now, when i turn my 500 on at startup, it says "16 MB". Any suggestions on which RAM to buy for my 500 and a good website, maybe besides eBay.

( i know this question comes up A LOT, but i really just need to get the RAM for my 500 so i can get it and be done. )

Look 4 posts above yours and you'll see the specs for the Kingston RAM.
