R U SERIOUS LOL you alway have to mess with the TC. Well if your that good with your own timing then turn off the TC and and you will be all set. I am constantly changing my TC depending on how I am playing a certin riff. You got to mess with the TC when making music and you want things to be on point, and the swing too. Everything in MPC's are useful tool. Some features may work better for me versus for you but Akai is not in this business to confuse your A$$ LOL. Try using it and see what happens. TC allow you to place your notes at specific point of a beat.
As Keyboarb player you should understand 1/8, 1/16, 1/32. If you are trying to play a fast riff put it at 1/32 and see if that work for you. but Ideally if yoru that good the just turn it off and you will have complete flexability. Good luck!
