i download blue box and thaey apear on my mpc when i bulked them and perfect but the sounds dont come out

can anyone tell me how i can use bluebox (or mpc 1000 program creator) with samples i have recorded or edited in wavlab, audacity or cool edit??

i have been able to save them into a program but when i load it the sample would not be found or play (i have checked to put the samples in the same folder as the created program)

wax: i read you wrote something about the midi notes, is that what you mean that self recorded samples do not have them assigned? if this is so, how can the mpc create this midi notes when a sample is recorded directly into the mpc?

sup dude as for using bluebox its only good side is it makes u an autochromatic layout to ur program witch is cool so u wont have ot manually do it urself..

the purpose of a chromatic layout is assigning sounds in keygroup style so u can use a midi keyboard to play those sounds..the jj os does this automatically so the bluebox is old..

plus what for do u want to use the blue box when its so easy to load samples withn in the mpc1000? i think its pointless to use bluebox and i personally cant think of a reason to use bluebox except for the chromapad thingy but even after one chromapad is made u really wont need bluebox agin

as for ur midi question i have no clue what ur talking about..dumb it down for me so i can answer u with the best answer

i actually use the 2.10 os from akai, so i dont know about the features and advantages of jj.

i like to assemble my programs on pc with mouse and stuff. also i like to record and chop on pc. the programs made with samples from sample cds are perfectly accepted and played on the mpc. as soon as i record my own samples on pc and put it to a program, save it, and load it back on the mpc, it will load the program but without any samples in it..

you see my problem? any hints?

Hey guys. The following is for all those who use Blue box on Vista:

If you try to open the help file, you will get an error saying this help file is incompatible with windows.

To fix this problem,

1. Go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607 and scroll down to where it says Download WinHlp32.exe for Windows Vista and click on the link.

2. The following page will say Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe) for Windows Vista. Click on the CONTINUE button (your computer will freeze up for a couple of seconds, no worries!).

3. When its done, scroll down to where it says files in this download. If your using Vista 64 bit, download the file that has x64. Otherwise use x86.

4. When its finished, you should now be able to open the help documention that came with bluebox.
