Pad upgrade kit

i agree with you pad-o.. but it's kinda logical that if akai could make this to work with their os, it should be nothing for JJ to do. Besides that, the pad upgrade is compatible with os 2.11 from akai wich has been release the 1th of may, so it's a little bit old, in the release notes is listed that there's support implemented for additional updates(or something)

glad we agree, just that i've seen people get there hopes up berfore. i too believe that jj can make it work. i was just saying that fact isn't fact, until its fact. i think evil took it the wrong way. oh well.

MPC stuff says it will work. JJ is not going to go public and say it will and the people who run mpc stuff arent going to lie because that would be terrible for business. Open your damn eyes... ITS FACT!

I have just finished installing the new upgrade kit...took about 30 min.

Its great! It feels just like the other legendary MPC pads...

Works with:

For the ppl fighting about it...

JJ OS 3.07 and 4.87 Work as does the Akai 2.11
Make sure you install the OS before the pads or you will have to switch them back to make it work.

Sweet!!!!! Pads look a lighter color also, ima order a set, so when my pads go i have these ! Hopefully they wont be going out too soon!

that's the pcb, it's what translates the messages the force sensing resistors give to what pad is being hit so the mpc triggers the right sample in the right part of the programme.

as the look of this fix from this picture installation should be a piece of cake. only a matter of screwing the pad fix itself on the metal frame, screwing the pcb on the back of the frame, screwing the frame onto the mpc and placing the pads over the force sensing resistors.

i speculate that this is force sensing resistors, like the interlink products, and not ordenary sensors.
wonder what the pads'll feel like.

mine unit is getting shipped this friday. i've just payed and nick from vst said mine would be shipped on friday. finally something exciting in the mail except bills.

Feels just like my MPC2500.....just smaller.
